About Kate Finley
Kate Finley is the founder and CEO of Belle Communication, an award-winning and top ranked digital PR and social media firm based in Columbus, Ohio. Launched in 2013 with big dreams, bootstraps and a laptop, Kate took the leap into entrepreneurship at age 28 with the vision to do public relations counter to the industry’s work-obsessed norms.
Belle was founded on the belief that meaningful work and thriving relationships should coexist. Most recently, lifestyle design, Conscious Capitalism and Radical Candor each influence the culture Belle has today.
Kate is a member of Public Relations Society of America’s Counselors Academy, a network of industry-leading senior-level PR agency owners, and has served on its executive committee. In her community, Kate is the board president for anti-human-trafficking social enterprise Freedom a la Cart and serves as co-chair for its annual fundraiser, "Eat Up! Columbus.” She also founded and leads Boss Society, a professional network for millennial female business owners in Central Ohio.
Since her first month in business, Kate has been featured as a source and contributor to top outlets like CNNMoney, Entrepreneur, Huffington Post, CIO, PRWeek, Cision, PRDaily and PR News. She has received a number of awards locally and nationally including PR Week's Women to Watch 2021, Columbus Business First’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2016, PR News’ Top Women in PR and Smart Business Network’s “Smart 50.”
