5 Inspirational Thoughts to Jumpstart Your Monday

I’ve shared before that I love Mondays. I learned early on in my career that the beginning of the workweek shouldn’t have to be a time of dread but could instead be viewed as an opportunity to start fresh. The idea is that Mondays hold limitless potential for the extraordinary. That perspective took and now I choose to view Mondays through a positive lens. I no longer dread Mondays … Instead, I look forward to them. This Monday, I thought it would be helpful to reflect on 5 inspirational thoughts that we’ve shared as a team here at our agency.

We make inspirational thought a priority and as a part of this, I share daily thoughts with the team to jumpstart each day.

Here are 5 inspirational thoughts to jumpstart your Monday from our team to you …

1. Release fear to accept the extraordinary.

Take a few moments to reflect on where you may be letting fear hold you back. Fear is one of our greatest enemies. Fear of the opinion of others, fear of failure, fear of the unknown … Fear keeps us from setting and achieving goals, starting new relationships, trying new things, speaking out about our convictions, and following our deepest dreams.

Where are you letting fear influence your decisions? Make a list and begin to tackle it.

2. Stand up for yourself.

It’s OK to stand up for yourself sometimes. Boundaries are important. Just make sure you aren’t acting out of emotions. Feel the emotions and introspect to help uncover why you feel the way you do, then begin to make decisions.

3. There’s always more than one way to do something.

… The challenge is finding the best solution. To do this, you can:

  1. Rely on past experience and make a decision.
  2. Research what has been done before and learn from the experience of others.
  3. Directly seek out the opinion of others.
  4. Wait and think instead of taking immediate action.
  5. All of the above.

4. Don’t over-think everything.

You can do even greater things than you’ve ever thought about. Put yourself in a position to see just how much you can accomplish and how far you can go.

Don’t over think. Just do.

5. Today, you have exactly what you need to be great.

Perhaps doubt and fear are signs that you are in the middle of something great. Push them aside and move forward into the unknown. Trust that you have exactly what you need for this moment.

Be bold. Be brave. Be extraordinary today. And, learn to love Mondays 😉
